Dr. Giv Sharifi, born in 1974 in Tehran, is a specialist doctor and brain surgeon
He is a graduate of neurosurgery and the first specialist in this field in Iran, who is also a member of the American Association of Surgeons.
From diploma to medicine
After finishing high school in 1991, when he was 18 years old, he entered the field of general medicine at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Islamic Azad University.
In 1398, after graduating, he entered the specialization course of Shahid Beheshti University after passing in KENCO, until he obtained his specialization in 2003.
First ranks
In 1995, when he was 21 years old, Mr. Doctor won the first place in the national exam of basic sciences of Islamic Azad University and the 3rd place among the students of medical sciences universities, and a year later he was the first among the students of Azad University in the pathophysiology exam.
The first rank in the pre-internship exam among Azad University students and the 4th rank among medical science students in 1976 and the first rank in the Iran neurosurgery board exam show the high intelligence and talent of this doctor.
From Beheshti University to America
Currently, he is a member of the academic faculty of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and an associate professor of neurosurgery and a research assistant at the department of neurology at Luqman Hospital.

From global practices to articles
They have carried out many research activities in the field of surgery, especially endoscopic surgeries for brain, pituitary and skull base tumors at the global level.
And so far, they have published about 60 scientific articles in prestigious domestic and foreign medical journals

1- The first successful endoscopic surgery of arachnoid cyst in the third ventricle at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran, and conducting research studies in this field at the neurosurgery department of Luqman Hakim Hospital.
2- Establishing and expanding the treatment-resistant epilepsy surgery clinic for the first time in Shahid Beheshti University in Iran and conducting research studies in this field in the neurosurgery department of Luqman Hakim Hospital.
3- Performing selective amygdala and hippocampectomy for the first time in Luqman Hakim Hospital, Shahid Beheshti University, Iran
4- The first successful endoscopic sympathectomy surgery in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran, and conducting research studies in this field in collaboration with the neurosurgery department of Luqman Hakim Hospital and the thoracic surgery department of Masih Daneshvari Hospital.
5- The first successful surgery with the posterior-transocclusal trans-volume interpositum method in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran
6- The first successful paraclonoid aneurysm surgery with the transclonoid-transcavernous method at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Ira
7- Successful application of transsphenoidal endoscopic method for the treatment of skull injuries and pituitary tumors for the first time in Iran, in cooperation with neurosurgery departments and ENT department of Luqman Hakim Hospital.
8- Successful application of transnasal endoscopic method with the guidance of medical images (Image-guided) in the treatment of pituitary tumors and anterior skull injuries for the first time in Iran, in cooperation with the ENT department of Rasoul Akram Hospital
